The Care Center Ministry provides an opportunity for LOBC to share their time and fellowship with the Gatesville community by working at the local food and clothing bank. The Care Center is a source of food, clothing, kitchen and home items, baby items, and more to low-income and disadvantaged people in the community. Volunteers work at the Center on the second Wednesday of every month anytime between the hours of 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Volunteers sort clothing, place clothes and other items out in the store, box food, and help load supplies that customers select. This ministry also provides a chance for LOBC to share God’s message and love to individuals who are on probation for minor law violations who are doing court-ordered community service at the Care Center. The ministry is a good example of how our Church is spreading the Gospel outside the walls of the church.
